The Journey Begins...

Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails.

Tomorrow(5/23) we leave for Honduras and plan to arrive on Saturday(5/24). This means an overnight stay in the airport, woohoo! Please pray for us as we make this journey; we ask for safe travels, no lost luggage, and everyone to stay healthy. For those partnering with us in prayer and/or financial assistance we thank you for helping us to reach the people of Honduras through medical service and spiritual guidance.

Here is a photo we took awhile back that is missing some of the team members, but we'll be sure to take some more in Honduras and post them.

Thank you so much for supporting your loved one to go to Honduras on the Medical Missions trip. Safety is a big concern. The phone number at World Gospel Outreach Mission House in Tegucigalpa, Honduras is 713 - 344 1449.  You can call and leave a message in case of any emergency.

We plan to update this blog daily during our trip so you can pray along with us and know what is happening.

Our trip dates are Saturday, May 24 -  Saturday May 31, 2014 

Here are some ongoing prayer requests:

1. Pray for the team as we prepare for the trip.
2. Pray for a safe flight on May 24 and the return trip on May 31.
3. Pray for the clinics we will be doing:  #1 is Monday - Tuesday and Clinic #2 is Thursday and Friday.  Our love is to share the gospel with the Hondurans and to love them with the love of Christ.
4. Pray for safety and no illness.
